Forge Slot Furnace
The Lindberg forge slot furnace is designed for high production and
continuous operation at forging temperatures of up to 2400°F. The
wall and hearth construction has been chosen for its resistance to abrasion
and shock as well as for its thermal efficiency.
An adjustable refractory lined shield is provided for the operator’s
protection; it also covers that position of the slot not being used.
As an additional protection to the operator, an air curtain is used between
the shield and the furnace to carry the excess heat away.
Burners are semi-nozzle mixing and will not backfire at any range of
operation
